Mr Grant O’Riley, Managing Director has formally announced the launch of new company, CapBack Licensee Solutions. As leader and founder of the successful AFSL, Capstone Financial Planning – this latest business venture ensures there’s a full array of support options for Australian financial advisers, regardless of their setup and business structure.  

CapBack is a comprehensive business services offering supporting self licensed businesses to effectively run and manage their own AFSL. Resourced by a team of financial services professionals, it offers a range of packages to choose from, delivering tailored support to businesses when they need it.

Sister company, Capstone Financial Planning has been supporting financial advisers with its four pillars of support since July 2002 and this new offering is simply another step in servicing more of the financial advice market.

“We now have something for everyone”, said Grant O’Riley, Managing Director.

“With over 23 years supporting advisers across Australia, we know what it takes to run a successful AFSL and we’re excited to support more financial advisers as they pursue their own AFSL journey.

“It can be challenging trying to do everything on your own and that’s where CapBack comes in. We can help self licensed businesses establish their AFSL or support existing AFSLs upskill in all aspects of their operations, freeing up their time to service clients”, he said.

In addition to eight packages, from revenue management to compliance, research, Xplan, marketing and more, CapBack also supports self licensed AFSLs in navigating the complexities of setting up their license.

“There’s a common message I hear from nearly every self licensed adviser, ‘I didn’t realise how much time and effort was involved in running my own AFSL’ – it’s the same frustration for all of them, regardless of the business size”, said Grant.

“This was my main motivation to establish CapBack – to allow self licensed advisers the time to focus on what they do best, providing financial advice to their clients; and giving them a viable alternative to help manage everything else”.

With a highly flexible business model, CapBack offers no lock in contracts and the option of one off services such as website development, as well as ad hoc marketing support or coaching services which are charged at an hourly rate.
